PC Mall, the publisher of the PC Mall and Mac Mall catalogs, has signed up for print technology firm Go2Paper's Paper Manager service, which officially launched yesterday.
Paper Manager lets publishers and catalogers fully manage their paper transactions online. With Paper Manager, print users can keep track of inventory, rejects and usages, and have the option to sell excess paper on Go2Paper's Paper Marketplace.
Go2Paper, Oakland, CA, developed the Print Manager service with assistance from industry paper users. The service is available on a monthly subscription basis and is free of upfront fees and integration costs.
PC Mall, Torrance, CA, uses 8,000 tons of paper annually. The company said that Paper Manager has helped it streamline the publications process, which previously had to be planned out on spreadsheet software.
