Ostroy starts film foundation in wife’s memory

Andy Ostroy, chairman/CEO of list services firm Belardi/Ostroy ALC LLC, has launched a nonprofit organization called The Adrienne Shelly Foundation in memory of his late wife.

The foundation plans to open a Women’s Filmmaking Scholarship Fund, awarding females film school scholarships and helping women move from acting to directing movies.

Those wishing to contribute to the nonprofit may mail checks for The Adrienne Shelly Foundation to Belardi/Ostroy ALC LLC, 16 W. 22nd St., 11th Floor, New York, NY 10010. Please post-date checks to Dec. 15 until the foundation’s legal status is final.
