OrangeSoda launches SEM division for big brands

Local online search marketing agency OrangeSoda has launched OrangeSoda Enterprise to service its high-end and national clients on a local level. Enterprise will provide geo-targeted online advertising, paid search, search engine optimization, social media and analytics.

Clients include RE/MAX and Jiffy Lube, which have already run regional campaigns with OrangeSoda.

Derek Miner, co-founder of OrangeSoda, will take on the position of EVP of OrangeSoda Enterprise.

“With OrangeSoda, we’ve built world-class services and technology for the small and midsize business on the local level, and there’s a lot of enterprise companies who also want to penetrate that local market,” Miner said.

“People are searching online trying to finding a specific location or something that’s relevant to them geographically,” he added. “That’s the real value.”

OrangeSoda Enterprise also can work with brands that are already working on search efforts in-house or with an agency, Miner said. “[We want] to help brands expand their reach without incurring significant costs above and beyond what they’re already paying.”

Based in American Fork, UT, Orange Soda has about 200 employees. Approximately 50 of them now work in the Enterprise division.

No staff changes are planned, but Miner said he would monitor that as the company’s client base grows.
