Jupiter Media Metrix, New York, will host a big-name seminar on Internet fulfillment and profitability today and tomorrow in Chicago.
Called the Retailing Forum, executives from Lands' End, Toysrus.com, Office Depot, Frederick's of Hollywood, Nordstrom.com and Spiegel Inc. are scheduled to speak at the conference, which is expected to draw around 300 attendees. The forum begins Monday, May 21.
In separate roundtable-style discussions, the speakers will address emerging online fulfillment strategies, case studies and advice for online and offline retailers on how to make operations more profitable. In one scheduled forum, the executives will predict what products are likely to fade and which ones will become more popular items for online retailers.
The event is taking place at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers in downtown Chicago.
