OgilvyInteractive, New York, became the third division of the Ogilvy Group Inc. to become agency of record for a facet of The Perrier Group of North America's marketing program last week.
Billings were not disclosed.
The agency will develop a corporate Web site, at www.perrier.com, and create a unified Web strategy among all 14 Perrier bottled water brands. It also will implement e-commerce capabilities and will coordinate an integrated information system for retailers, distributors, restaurants and consumers. The new Web site is expected to launch in the spring.
OgilvyInteractive's sister companies, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and Ogilvy Public Relations, are agencies of record for Perrier's brand advertising and public relations. Along with the agency announcement, Perrier announced that Paul Bova, the company's brand manager of marketing, is moving to the post of manager of interactive business development.
“Working with the Ogilvy Group, we will push e-commerce to the forefront of Perrier's online brand presence in an attempt to provide convenient online order and deliver services for our customers,” he said.
Perrier's brands of bottled water include its flagship brand Perrier and Poland Springs, Great Bear, Ice Mountain and Calistoga.
