Ogilvy named an AOR for UnitedHealthcare

Ogilvy New York has been named advertising AOR for UnitedHealthcare.

Ogilvy was one of four finalists in the review, conducted by Select Resources, an Ogilvy spokesperson said. The other finalists were not named. Deutsch LA previously handled the account.

“Healthcare is becoming an increasingly personalized experience,” said Chris Gibson, United Healthcare’s CMO, in a statement. “Therefore we wanted to partner with an agency that can effectively reach our various stakeholders across multiple touch points with a unified but unique message.”

Ogilvy One has previously done some direct marketing work for Secure Horizons, which is part of United Healthcare, the spokesperson said.

“We’re thrilled to be working with a national health care leader in UnitedHealthcare,” said Carla Hendra, chairman of Ogilvy New York in the statement. “We quickly recognized that this is an innovative company making enormous, positive contributions to how employers and individuals access and use health benefits, and they have an exciting story to tell.”
