Integrated service provider o2wireless Solutions, Atlanta, yesterday said that it has acquired Young & Associates Inc., San Diego, a company specializing in consulting services and site development for wireless telecommunications providers.
Young & Associates has 55 employees and will stay in San Diego and serve as divisional headquarters of site development for o2wireless Solutions.
“We look forward to strengthening o2wireless' end-to-end solution capabilities,” said Jeffrey Young, founder of Young & Associates and newly appointed vice president and general manager of the site development division. “We also believe o2wireless provides an ideal environment for our customers and employees.”
Additionally, o2wireless Solutions, which employs about 800 workers, also acquired international consulting firm HAF Ltd., which focuses on wireless and broadband technologies. The acquisition will allow o2wireless Solutions to expand its European market coverage.
Terms of the two acquisitions were not disclosed.
“We are committed to growing our business on a worldwide basis and will continue to explore opportunities to build our international business through organic growth and strategic acquisitions,” said Michael W. Riley, president and chief operating officer at o2wireless Solutions.
HAF Ltd. is now part of o2wireless Solutions' international division and will remain in its current London location.
Both companies will change their names to o2wireless Solutions. Ownership of both companies begins immediately.
