Media giant Nielsen Co.’s Nielsen Business Media and ad agency JWT partnered to debut JWT NewsWatch, a customized information portal for the shop’s employees.
The joint effort will offer JWT staffers access to content from more than 40 Nielsen titles including Brandweek, Adweek, Mediaweek, Billboard and the Hollywood Reporter. InfoDesk’s enterprise news management technology powers the Web site.
“Our goal is to provide a completely customized product that filters the news and information that gets to the heart of what JWT employees need to do their jobs better and to serve their clients more effectively,” said Howard Applebaum, vice president of licensing and events at Nielsen Business Media, in a statement.
JWT NewsWatch has a landing page with advertising, marketing and media news from Nielsen-owned publications as well as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. There is a section devoted to JWT and 19 client-specific pages.
