Nielsen Business’ sites turn to mdog.com for mobile tech platform

Nielsen Business Media’s top Web sites HollywoodReporter.com, Billboard.com, Adweek.com and Backstage.com have been mobilized using the mdog.com technology platform.

From news articles and story archives, to contact directories and casting notices, readers can access alternatively formatted versions of these sites using any Web-enabled mobile device.

Over the next few months, Nielsen will mobilize other Web sites in its portfolio using mdog.com’s technology. Mdog.com is a comprehensive destination for mobile Web and mobile blogging.

In addition to consumer offerings, mdog.com licenses its mobile platform to a number of Internet-content providers that include Forbes.com, The Wall Street Journal’s WSJ.com, Careerbuilder.com and the Web sites for all 41 print business journals at Bizjournals.com.

A live demo of the technology is available through the company’s Web site at www.mdog.com/demo.

Mdog.com’s technology is compatible with any wireless carrier or Web-enabled mobile device that has a browser, such as a BlackBerry, Treo, Windows Mobile, Sidekick, and high-end Nokia and Motorola Q headsets.

Hundreds of the Internet’s top Web sites are formatted for instant mobile accessibility by pointing a mobile Web browser to mdog.com.
