New Site to Deliver Travelers’ Liquid Amenities to Hotels Ahead of Arrival

Life on the road is about to get easier for air line travelers who face the sweeping Aug. 10 ban on liquid products in carry-on luggage.

Enter Charlotte, NC-based WB Solutions’ MyWetStuff.com Web site, which goes live on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The site lets travelers pre-order trial sizes of their favorite water-based toiletries and travel amenities. Then, by processing the travel date and hotel location with the traveler’s order, MyWetStuff.com delivers a personalized travel kit ahead of time to the hotel ahead of the traveler’s arrival.

As part of the Web site’s kickoff, the first 70,000 travelers to place an order on the site from Sept. 5 through Sept. 11 will receive credit for up to $15 toward their first order. Travelers can reserve one of the 70,000 slots prior to Sept. 5 by registering online.

Next month, a broad market strategy will be rolled out including offering co-branding opportunities to travel industry partners, who will be able to deploy the MyWetStuff.com ordering functionality through their systems.

WB Solutions will also offer special programs designed toward large companies with large travel budgets, and special offers for trade shows and conventions are in the works. An international expansion model is also being developed.
