New Database Vendor Exhibits at NCDM

ORLANDO, FL — Goldleaf Data, a division of ComTrust Telecommunications Inc., a Suwanee, GA, telecom company, was one of a few new vendors exhibiting at the Winter 2003 National Center for Database Marketing Conference here.

Goldleaf, which launched last month, offers a database that lets marketers reach new homeowners and new business locations within 72 hours of phone lines being connected.

“Every time a new homeowner moves in or when a new business location is opened, it means an opportunity for marketers of a wide variety of goods and services,” said Larry Butler, president/CEO of Goldleaf Data and ComTrust. “And the marketer who gets a foot in that new door first has the best shot at winning and keeping the new customer's loyalty.”

Butler said Goldleaf has an edge over other data providers because ComTrust's main business is to provide operator-directory assistance to telephone carriers and large enterprises. To provide that service, ComTrust gathers new listing data from telephone carriers in the United States every 24 hours.
