iPublish.com, which will launch as an online publishing website in the first quarter of next year, yesterday unveiled their October eBook list with a new book by Bill Cosby as its centerpiece. In August iPublish, the electronic division of Time Warner Trade Publishing, started launching a monthly list of all eBook titles currently available on the market.
Cosby's book is titled “American Schools: The $100 Billion Challenge,” an exclusive eBook original cowritten with Dwight Allen, EdD of Old Dominion University. Unlike other Cosby books, the new book is a call to arms to the new dot-com captains of industry: donate $100 billion to implement “National Exerimental Schoo. System,” Cosby and Allen's plan to reinvent American education.
“We are thrilled about our October list because it showcases eBook originals by both celebrated best-selling authors and extraordinary newcomers, and it offers readers a balance of entertaining, thought-provoking, and inspirational works,” said Claire Zion, editorial director of iPublish.com.
The iPublish.com titles are available through several eBook formats, including Microsoft Reader, Gemstar's Rocket eBook and Softbook, Glassbook, and PeanutPress, and for sale in a number of online retailers such as Barnes & Noble.com.
