CommonHealth, a WPP Group PLC health communications holding company, formed Carbon Healthcare Communications, an advertising and promotions agency for high-science brands.
Carbon will offer biopharmaceutical and other emerging technologies with marketing services to differentiate brands and grow businesses. It already has clients like Gilead, Wyeth and Serono.
The agency will offer direct services through The Xchange Group, a sibling agency.
Based in Wayne, NJ, Carbon will be headed by president Nanske Wood, previously executive vice president and managing partner at sibling agency Adient. Cindy Johnson will be senior vice president and management supervisor.
