E-mail marketing firm NetCreations Inc. yesterday began offering a premium service from its PostMasterDirect.com division that gives select marketers the exclusive right to send e-mail offers to potential customers as soon as they complete NetCreations’ double opt-in process.
“It’s not only about what you send to a prospect, it’s also about when,” said Michael Mayor, NetCreations’ vice president of sales.
The New York company said its PostMasterDirect.com database now has more than 25 million prospects and is growing by more than 80,000 new e-mail addresses a day.
NetCreations said marketers who are now testing the program are seeing click through rates that are as high as double that of their regular PostMasterDirect.com response rates.
The Instant Offer service is available in targeted categories including Web Hosting, Small Business, IT Professionals, Shoppers, Free Stuff and Investing.
Pricing for the service will be negotiated at a premium based on categories and the volume of new prospects, NetCreations said.
