NBA Pairs With SportsLine.com for Promotions and Content

The National Basketball Association and SportsLine.com Inc. yesterday announced the beginning of an international, multiyear co-marketing pact.

SportsLine, www.cbs.sportsline.com, will sponsor and broadcast “The NBA Beat,” an interactive talk show on NBA.com. SportsLine will promote the NBA and the WNBA on all its pro basketball Web pages and will develop the NBA Fantasy Basketball 2001 game for NBA.com.

The NBA and the WNBA will provide SportsLine with video highlights. Both SportsLine and its Euro-Asian subsidiary, Sports.com, will be provided with real-time scoring and statistical news for every NBA and WNBA game.

NBA.com will also promote the SportsLine Web site during “The NBA Beat” talk show broadcasts.
