The National Basketball Association will air its first professional sports league interactive talk show on its Web site, NBA.com, on Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.
The talk show, labeled The NBA Beat, will be broadcast live on NBA.com TV — a DirecTV program — and fed via streaming audio onto NBA.com weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The show will originate from the NBA Store in New York. It's talk-show format will enable fans to provide their perspective on basketball topics by calling NBA.com TV or sending e-mails to the site.
NBA.com TV anchors, including Ron Burke, Matt Devlin, Carlos Diaz and Dei Lynam, will host the program on a rotating basis. Guests of the show will include NBA coaches, players, general managers, league executives and members of the sports media.
