Loyalty services provider MyPoints.com Inc. will promote florist FTD.com's products to more than 10 million members in its database, it was announced yesterday.
The deal is meant to help build loyalty and boost online sales for FTD.com via the use of MyPoints.com marketing tools. The alliance was cemented after previous MyPoints.com Valentine's Day and Mother's Day campaigns for FTD.com.
Under the new arrangement, MyPoints.com will launch MyPoints BonusMail e-mail campaigns aimed at its opt-in database. That effort will be accompanied by FTD.com's presence on the shopping channel of MyPoints.com's Web site.
Through this outreach, MyPoints.com members will be able to buy flowers and gifts from FTD.com.
