Moxie Interactive names Neslund first agency president

Moxie Interactive has named Scott Neslund its first president, the Publicis Groupe digital agency said March 3.

Neslund’s responsibilities include finding new business, handling client relationships and optimizing agency efficiency. He will report to CEO Joel Lunenfeld.

Leaders of the company’s technology, client services, creative, program leadership, media, planning and new business units will report directly to Neslund, who will be based in the agency’s Atlanta headquarters.

Neslund, who began work at Moxie on February 22, most recently served as CEO of Red Bricks Media. He previously worked at Starcom MediaVest Group’s Starlink unit and as EVP of Starcom MediaVestGroup.

“Moxie about 11 years old and has a very strong independent spirit that is necessary to be nimble,” he said. “It is a key agency within the world of Publicis…and I think Publicis has the right assets for success going forward.”

Correction: An earlier version of this story misidentified the number of years that Moxie Interactive has existed. The agency is about 11 years old.
