Sportswear marketer Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. renewed its joint venture with DMi Partners, an interactive marketing agency in Philadelphia. The agency will continue to manage Philadelphia-based Mitchell & Ness' e-commerce site, online marketing and sales and customer service call center.
Under DMi's tutelage, Mitchell & Ness more than doubled its e-commerce business from $900,000 in 2004 to $2.3 million last year. The agency also helped cement partnerships with Amazon, Shopzilla and Shopping.com as well as develop an affiliate marketing program spanning more than 250 sites.
Founded in 1904, Mitchell & Ness holds licenses from the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League and Major League Baseball to offer 1,600-plus styles of player jerseys, warm-ups and heavyweight jackets.
