Millard Group Inc., Peterborough, NH, announced yesterday that it is accepting multichannel retailers, including clients and non-clients, as participants in its upcoming Online Co-op Survey to be fielded in October.
The firm's quarterly surveys are conducted to provide catalogers and Internet retailers with insight regarding consumer attitudes and shopping behaviors on the Web.
Each survey consists of 20 questions about online shopping that participants e-mail to their customers as a link to a secure Millard Web site. The questions are asked in relation to the specific retailer's site. The responses are tallied by Millard and shared with each participant with specifics about its customers and aggregate data from the entire survey. The cost to participants is $750.
The October survey will contain questions regarding the effects of increased comparison shopping online, the impact of e-mail initiatives and the usage of shopping drivers. It will also include questions about consumer moods and spending tendencies, including when consumers anticipate starting and ending their holiday shopping and how much they plan to spend by channel.
The next survey will be Millard's post-holiday survey, which will be fielded in late December or early January.
