Microsoft Corp. last week signed a distribution and service agreement with Commtouch Software in which Microsoft will use Commtouch’s Custom Mail Service to provide Web-based e-mail solutions for select partners of the Microsoft Network. Also as part of the agreement, Microsoft will exercise an option to purchase 707,964 shares of Commtouch Software stock at a price of $28.25 per share. Commtouch software is a global provider of outsourced e-mail and messaging services.
