Metrix, Relevant Knowledge Merge

Measurement services providers Media Metrix, New York, and Relevant Knowledge, Atlanta, recently merged and will retain the name of Media Metrix (www.Media Metrix.com) with the tag line “The Power of Relevant Knowledge.”

The new company will offer coverage of all digital media — including more than 15,000 Web sites and online properties — monthly, weekly and real-time data reporting. It also will provide service for more than 250 clients, including Microsoft, AOL, Intel, Yahoo, Disney and Amazon.com. The companies say the merger is a response to the industry's demand for an objective, accurate and reliable standard in Internet and digital media audience measurement.
