Merkle Partners with Alterian to Gain Speed to Market

Alterian, a provider of database marketing and customer insight solutions, will announce today that it has entered into a partnership with Merkle Inc., a leading database marketing agency.

Merkle, based in Lanham, Md., will be adding Alterian’s tools to its suite of partner solutions. Merkle is now authorized to use the Alterian Marketing Suite, incorporating Alterian’s Data Discovery and Visualization, Selection Planner, Reporting and Modeling tools all operating against the Alterian Database Engine.

Merkle expects Alterian’s technology to improve operational efficiencies, deliver critical gains in database functionality, increase development speed and enable faster execution of complex, multi-celled campaigns. Alterian’s Marketing Suite can now be incorporated into Merkle’s Knowledge Centers, which are comprehensive database infrastructures that serve as the foundation for data-driven marketing programs.

Alterian’s database tools provide marketers with hands-on access to data and the ability to run rapid, complex analytical queries from their desktops and then execute campaigns to segments selected through this analysis. Marketers can operate with detailed customer-level data throughout each phase of the marketing process, easily and expertly conduct data discovery and analytics and manage complex campaigns.
