Merkle Extends Work With Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Database marketing agency Merkle Inc. renewed its relationship with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with a new contract to support the implementation of the nonprofit's donor campaigns.

The three-year agreement requires Merkle, Lanham, MD, to continue offering database services and direct mail response fulfillment to help the foundation retain newly acquired donors.

Merkle began working with the Bethesda, MD-based foundation in 1997, processing and responding to incoming mail.

The agency's relationship with the foundation grew in 2000 with the addition of database services like direct marketing strategy, creative development, database development and maintenance, and lettershop services.

The foundation claims to have acquired 2.25 million new donors since it started working with Merkle.
