MeritDirect, White Plains, NY, said yesterday that it launched the Interactive Solutions Group, a consulting division focusing on Web-based services. The company hired Mark Trombetta to head the division.
As vice president of information technology and interactive services at MeritDirect, Trombetta will assist clients through the creation of Web-based tools and services geared for direct marketers. The tools will include e-commerce solutions, creative/new media services, optimization techniques and other IT and communications solutions, according to MeritDirect.
Trombetta has nearly 20 years of experience in direct marketing, sales, IT and financial services with companies including Colgate Palmolive, Philip Morris, J.P. Morgan Chase and British Telecom. Most recently he served as president of technology solutions provider Both Worlds Consulting, Westport, CT.
