Publishing company, The Meredith Corp., has completed its acquisition of ReadyMade, a multimedia brand targeting adults in their 20s and 30s.
The ReadyMade brand includes a do-it-yourself lifestyle magazine, a Web site, a branded book, custom marketing operations and products such as project plans and kits.
Readymade magazine, started in December of 2001, is published bi-monthly. The title was a finalist for the National Magazine Award in General Excellence in both 2005 and 2006.
Meredith plans to increase the publication’s circulation next year to 200,000.
The complementing Web site at www.readymade.com also features an interactive online community, blogs and an online store.
