Media Metrix Releases European Data

Net audience measurement firm Media Metrix Inc., New York, this week debuted its first Web audience measurement data from France, Germany and the United Kingdom. MMXI Europe Inc., a joint division of Media Metrix, conducted the online research that found Germans viewed more unique Web pages (1.2 million) in October than the British or the French.

Popular global domains in the three European nations include multinational sites from Yahoo Inc., Microsoft Inc. and America Online Inc., as well as local country sites such as the British Broadcasting Corp.’s site in the UK and T-Online in Germany.
