Here’s a pretty high tech offering from a very low tech company.
Biscuit maker McVities is declaring war on cookies, both virtual and real (although I always though the difference between biscuits and cookies was just an English/American thing.)
Instead of a microsite or an app, McVities has launched “Shoot The Cookies,” a Google Chrome extension that helps turn your browser into a game that helps you delete cookies. It’s entertaining stuff, and a novel idea from McVities. But will it make me stop eating real cookies? It’s gonna have to do more than a Chrome extension.
