Maxim Keeps Skin In the Game With Airborne Deal

Airborne Entertainment, a subsidiary of Cybird Co. and provider of mobile entertainment, announced an extension of its partnership with Dennis Publishing’s Maxim, Blender and Stuff magazines.

The partnership began in 2002 to help drive new mobile products, including the new Maxim Video Channel.

Dennis Publishing will offer cross-platform media support in its magazine pages and on its Web site.

In addition, Dennis Publishing with collaborate with Airborne to develop and execute promotions that tie-in with Maxim’s parties and events.

Last year, more than 8.5 million units of Maxim mobile products were sold. More than 1 million Maxim wallpapers were purchased through Sprint, marking the industry’s first Platinum Screensaver milestone.

Content planned for release under the agreement includes two new mobile games, Maxim Score Wars, a fantasy sports game and Maxim Slider, a puzzler featuring Maxim models.

Additional personalization, messaging and information products for Blender and Stuff will be produced as well.

Airborne will continue to manage Dennis Digital’s direct-to-consumer sales initiative through MaximToGo.com and other affiliated sites.
