Premier Practice Management has selected Matthews/Mark, San Diego, to conduct an integrated marketing campaign.
Through alliances with doctors, hospitals and insurance providers, PPM manages physician's administrative duties, particularly those duties related to HMOs and managed care organizations. Because PPM is a subsidiary of Premier Inc., the country's largest healthcare alliance, it will also be able to offer program participants some Premier Inc. benefits such as reduced-cost medical products resulting from bulk purchases.
The marketing campaign orchestrated by Matthews/Mark will involve direct mail and media relations, most likely to be followed by print trade advertising, said John Cihomsky, account supervisor. The initial direct mail piece, which will include a letter and a short brochure, will be sent to CEOs of hospitals that are already affiliated with Premier Inc.
