Marketing service provider Epsilon has signed a multiyear agreement with Marriott International Inc. to provide a full suite of e-mail marketing services for Marriott’s hotel/property brands.
Dallas-based Epsilon’s proprietary e-mail platform and program account management services will enable Marriott to launch, automate and manage highly personalized, permission-based e-mail communications to its customers.
“In the competitive travel industry, it’s important to engage our customer base with relevant and timely communications that reinforce our brand and provide value to the customer,” said Bob Behrens, VP of Marriott Rewards, in a statement. “E-mail is a critical channel for achieving this objective.”
Marriott International, based in Bethesda, Md., has more than 3,100 lodging properties in the United States and 66 other countries and territories.
