Market Logic Partners With House2Home

Market Logic has entered into a partnership with House2Home, a division of HomeBase Inc., to provide strategic and tactical loyalty marketing programs through customer relationship management efforts.

Market Logic, Costa Mesa, CA, will offer House2Home strategic consulting, creative development, programming, analysis and tactical execution management. Market Logic, the direct marketing subsidiary of Catalina Marketing Corp., St. Petersburg, FL, will also work with House2Home to develop a relationship marketing and loyalty program that provides customers with relevant information and value-added rewards.

Ginger Silverman, vice president of marketing and advertising at House2Home, said, “Our goal is simple — to maximize the lifetime relationship with each customer. We want them to feel like a part of the House2Home family.”

Silverman said the company chose Market Logic because of its proven record of successful customer recruitment and retention, as well as its understanding of CRM.

The partnership will emphasize communication with the customer in the most relevant manner, including direct mail, targeted e-mail and in-store marketing campaigns. Market Logic will be a critical part of the team in the design and management of customer database solutions and customer analysis.

“The first-year rollout of the House2Home store concept will emphasize quality customer acquisition,” said Deb Julson, customer relationship management director at House2Home. “This new brand was founded on the understanding that relationships with customers are a competitive advantage, and the goal is to acquire and retain quality, long-term customers. We want to begin the relationship dialogue with the very first customer communication.”

Market Logic has had a nine-year relationship with HomeBase, a retail company with 89 stores in 10 Western states, for direct marketing tactical executions. It began working with House2Home in September for its grand opening and early relationship and acquisition programs. The formal commitment and CRM loyalty program efforts began Feb. 1.
