Internet media company 24/7 Media Inc., New York, last week signed MapQuest.com Inc., to an exclusive two-year global advertising sales services agreement. Map-Quest.com is a mapping and destination information Web site.
“24/7 Media has been a critical part of MapQuest.com’s success,” said Michael Crosson, vice president of advertising at MapQuest.com. “Its sales team excels at creating innovative advertising packages … so it was natural for us to extend our agreement.”
Jay Friesel, 24/7 Media’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, said the agreement gives the company the opportunity to develop new strategic opportunities and build long-term partnerships for clients.
MapQuest.com provides advanced mapping systems and said it receives more than 3.1 million unique visitors monthly to its consumer Web site. As part of its business-to-business services, Map-Quest.com helps businesses integrate maps and driving directions into their Internet, Intranet and call center applications for improved marketing and customer service functions.
