Maponics LLC announced the release yesterday of its Next Generation Store Locator Maps product, which creates automated maps for marketers looking to direct customers to retail locations.
The Maponics tool lets firms produce maps that are typically between two inches and four inches square, and can be used in direct marketing print materials or on company Web sites to show consumers the nearest retail location.
The East Thetford, VT, firm said its software produces maps with greater street detail and easier-to-read labels than other solutions such as off-the-shelf mapping software.
