MapInfo, IAP Offer Banking Solution

MapInfo Corp., Troy, NY, said yesterday that it has partnered with Information Asset Partners, Metuchen, NJ, an analytic product development and marketing firm, to produce a suite of solutions for MapInfo's customers in the banking, insurance and investment communities.

As a result, Empirix — IAP's predictive segmentation solution for financial services marketing — will be used in conjunction with MapInfo's suite of segmentation products, including PSYTE U.S. Advantage, which enables companies to make consumer buying and lifestyle behavior predictions and decisions regarding site location, market potential, customer acquisition and target marketing.

The addition of the Empirix solution will enable financial services clients to more precisely measure market potential and drive marketing efforts to the highest potential buyers, MapInfo said.
