WASHINGTON – MailExpress Inc. has announced a money back delivery guarantee for expedited mail.
Atlanta-based MailExpress Inc., which specializes in delivery of non-letter-size mail and small parcels for high-volume mailers, said the guarantee is for customer delivery within five days. MailExpress will reimburse the mailer up to four times the cost of shipment to cover re-fulfillment costs. The warranty was announced at the National Postal Forum.
The five-day pledge promises that mail will be delivered to the addressee within five business days of processing at the MailExpress origination facility. The guarantee is made possible through MailExpress’ nationwide network, technology, and business processes.
MailExpress’ nationwide network of processing facilities is powered by the company’s proprietary OnTrack technology and state-of-the-art automation. MailExpress tracks each individual piece of mail and provides piece-level reporting to verify performance against the money-back guarantee. Mailers benefit by having a clear process for checking delivery status and initiating re-fulfillment without the risk of escalating postage and content costs, MailExpress said.
The guarantee covers flat mail at a rate of four times the postage and parcels at two times the cost of postage.
The company said that Standard flats mailers facing high increases can switch to its expedited guaranteed service and pay rates that are 20 percent lower than First-Class mail rates.
