Magazine Publishers' Group Joins PLI

Magazine Publishers of America, the industry trade association for the consumer magazine business, has joined the Privacy Leadership Initiative to help educate consumers about the issue of privacy.

“By joining the PLI, MPA members will be able to help readers understand how to protect their privacy, thus forming a closer bond and promoting customer loyalty,” said Nina Link, president/CEO of Magazine Publishers of America, New York.

Privacy Leadership Initiative is a privacy research and education partnership of CEOs from 15 corporations, including Acxiom, DoubleClick and Experian; and nine business associations, including the Direct Marketing Association and the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
