Madison Direct Marketing said yesterday that it is sponsoring a prepaid life insurance policy for more than 1 million new parents in its 2005 Family Advantage direct mail cooperative advertising programs.
The offer includes three months of free life insurance coverage to allow families time to decide whether to insure their youngest child for the long term.
The cooperative program will include an outer envelope congratulating new parents on the birth of their baby and a letter explaining the importance of creating a life insurance program for their child from Family Advantage.
“Offering families prepaid life insurance is a strong direct marketing tactic and a good example of how direct marketers can partner with Family Advantage to win more consumer response,” Madison Direct Marketing president Chris Hulse said in a statement.
Madison Direct Marketing, Stamford, CT, packages and distributes 30 million Family Advantage mailings annually featuring special offers from a variety of marketers.
