Federated operates 850 department stores and 720 bridal and formalwear stores in the United States under many names include Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Kaufmann's and Lord & Taylor. The company also operates macys.com and Bloomingdale's By Mail.

The software will help Macy's increase return on investment in its online marketing programs and strengthen the company's brand image as a leading provider of fashion and affordable luxury items.
