Loyalty Expert Whitley Named CMO at Century 21

Cara Whitley, who led loyalty efforts at American Express and Epsilon, has been named CMO of Century 21 Real Estate. She was brought on to direct marketing, advertising, and digital efforts in the company’s next phase of global expansion, said President and CEO Rick Davidson in a press release.

Whitley arrives at the huge residential real estate network from Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, where she also served as CMO. She has 20 years of brand marketing and loyalty services experience, largely in the travel industry. She spent 11 years in the marketing organization at Hilton Hotels, culminating her career there as VP of customer loyalty, global partnerships, and international marketing. Her next stop was at Epsilon as VP and GM of Loyalty Marketing Services, and she then went on to American Express as VP of business development and global loyalty.

“It is critical that we increase awareness and preference of our award-winning brand in order to capitalize on the rapidly evolving marketplace and global economy,” said Davidson.

Century 21, a franchisor, counts approximately 6,900 independent offices worldwide.
