Loislaw.com, Van Buren, AR, a business-to-business Internet provider of primary legal research materials, announced late last month they have formed a joint marketing agreement with ChoicePoint, Peoria, IL, to provide customers with online access to both companies’ products and services.
Customers of both companies will now have real-time access to ChoicePoint’s data on incorporation status, location/residence verification, lines and bankruptcies, as well as Loislaw.com’s offerings of federal and state law, legal training and education manuals and breaking judicial news.
Through the agreement, eligible Loislaw.com subscribers will be able to subscribe to and access ChoicePoint’s public records data via a hot link to a new co-branded Web site that will be maintained by ChoicePoint. And ChoicePoint subscribers will be able to subscribe and access Loislaw.com’s legal research materials via a hot link to a Loislaw.com Web site.
