Loews Cineplex Entertainment Corp. confirmed Marinelli Communications, New York, as its sales promotion agency of record.
The agency is in charge of determining strategy, planning and executing Loews' promotions. The promotions aim to drive traffic to thousands of screens nationwide at Loews' theater brands like Loews and Cineplex Odeon.
“They do a lot of promotions to drive traffic to the theaters through enjoytheshow.com,” said Amy Minkoff, a Marinelli executive who works on the account.
Enjoytheshow.com often is a focal point for consumers to enter Loews' sweepstakes programs and post their entries.
