Cataloger L.L. Bean entered the growing active women's category — which includes catalogs from Activa and Nike Women — with the introduction of Everyday Adventures for Women.
“This catalog represents the best of what L.L. Bean has to offer the active woman in a single catalog resource,” said Rich Donaldson, spokesman for the Freeport, ME, company.
The 88-page book mailed last week to active women and mothers. Prices range from $8 for a water bottle to $299 for a bike. But the emphasis is on apparel for the active woman's lifestyle, from everyday wear, including jeans, to yoga, cycling, walking, hiking and swimming items.
