List Owners Suffer in Kleid’s 'Black Hole'

Regarding Kleid Co.'s disbursement of collectibles and their “black hole,” doesn't it seem inherently wrong that the last people to (maybe) get paid are the ones on whose behalf payments were already received?

It seems to me that these should be the first checks to mail, as this was money that Kleid already had in-house. Unfortunately because of bad judgment or, possibly, unethical practices, this money has already been spent, so regardless of what happens now, these list owners will get burned only because the mailers had paid. It just seems the least fair way of doing things.
