List Managers Unveil New Products

NEW YORK — A number of list managers used the platform of DM Days here last week to introduce products.

Penton Lists, Cleveland, released a database of 195,000 office-technology buyers compiled from the subscriber lists of Office Systems, Office Dealer, Managing Office Technology and selected titles from Industry Week. A merge/purge already has been performed on the database.

RMI Direct Marketing, Danbury, CT, will take over management of the more than 500,000-name Gurney's Seed & Nursery Co. 12-month buyers file and the more than 250,000-name Henry Field's Seed & Nursery Co. 12-month buyers file on July 1. An enhanced file of buyers ages 50 and over from both catalogs will be available soon.

Dunhill International List Co., Boca Raton, FL, has released a mailing list of manufacturers that includes 498,801 executives at 249,188 companies. Segmentations include primary and secondary SIC code, number of employees, import/export activity and sales volume, where available. State counts are available on request.

The LH Management division of Leon Henry Inc., Scarsdale, NY, has special offers on 10 insert and blow-in programs that expire June 15. The offers cover Next Step, Performance Automotive Products, Performance Bicycle, Performance Diver, Puritan's Pride, Road Runner, Summit and the Transmedia Network Inc. LH also has 10 new alternative media programs.

Mal Dunn Associates, Croton Falls, NY, has compiled all its managed titles and additional names from other sources into MarketShare, a prospecting list tool consisting of 54.5 million catalog buyers, subscribers and contributors. MarketShare is priced at $80 per thousand names with a number of market-specific selects.

Advanstar Communications, Cleveland, has added the 38,000-name Teleprofessional Magazine file and the 175,000-name MAGIC International apparel trade-show buyers and sellers file to its call center portfolio.
