List Briefs: MeritDirect Moves From CT to NY

Business-to-business list firm MeritDirect, currently of Stamford, CT, said that it will relocate to White Plains, NY, effective Dec. 1.

The firm signed a 10-year lease for a larger office space at 333 Westchester Ave., CEO Ralph Drybrough said. He cited more space at a favorable long-term lease rate, a more convenient location for employees and proximity to the rest of the New York-area list industry players for the purpose of recruiting.

MeritDirect has satellite locations in Chicago, Cleveland, San Francisco and Hilton Head, SC.

ClientLogic Gets Spin, Vibe

ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services, Weehawken, NJ, assumed management of publishing lists for Spin and Vibe magazines.

Spin has more than 376,300 active subscribers paying a yearly subscription price of $11.95. The file is 68 percent male with a median age of 27 and median household income of $62,775.

Vibe has more than 563,400 active subscribers paying a yearly subscription price of $11.95. The file is 50 percent male with an age range in the 20s and median household income of $41,540.

Selections for both files include geography, recency, source and change of address. Base prices on each are $100/M.

Kroll Adds Ailment Sufferer Lists

Kroll Direct Marketing, Plainsboro, NJ, announced new ailment sufferer files from its Compiled Solutions division. The files are segmented by ailment and titled accordingly with names such as Americans With Alzheimer's, which has 13,800 names, or Americans With Arthritis with 219,600 names.

Other files include asthma with 362,400 names, back pain with 537,000 names, balding/hair loss with 257,800 names, diabetes with 160,400 names, eczema with 123,600 names, emphysema with 33,500 names, epilepsy with 26,800 names, gastritis with 84,400 names, heartburn with 261,400 names, headache/migraine with 370,100 names, hearing loss with 166,900 names, heart problems with 110,500 names, insomnia with 209,200 names and lactose intolerance with 129,000 names.

Each ailment file has a base price of $135/M. Selects include gender, income, age, marital status, education and telephone numbers.

LTS Introduces BMG Segments

LTS List Management Services, New York, debuted two list segments from BMG Music Services.

The BMG Music Service New Member Hotlist has 438,000 new 3-month members and includes a 188,200-name one-month hotline. Also available are 29,000 new 1-month Sound & Spirit Club members and 25,000 new 1-month Latin Music Club members.

The BMG Music Service Presence of Teens & Tweens file consists of 730,000 active members with teens at home and 300,000 with tweens. Teens are defined as children 13-18 and tweens as children 10-12.

Selects on these new segments include geography, gender, recency, change of address, source, dollar and listening preference. Both files have base prices of $105/M. LTS recommends them for offers including apparel, magazines, gift, travel, credit cards, home entertainment electronics, contests and continuity programs.

Millard Manages Auto Catalog

Millard Group, Peterborough, NH, announced its management of the A.J. Prindle & Company list of more than 51,000 last-12-month catalog buyers. A.J. Prindle buyers purchased products and accessories for their cars such as electronics, organizers, garage accessories, mobile office devices and tailgating gear.

Buyers are 63 percent female with an average unit of sale of $70, an average age of 52 and average income of $62,000. Geography, gender, recency and dollar selects are available.

The base price is $115/M. Millard recommends this list for travel, gift, general merchandise, high-tech, music, video, apparel, fundraising, publishing and financial services offers.

Mokrynski Debuts Slipcover File

Mokrynski & Associates Inc., Hackensack, NJ, introduced the Sure Fit Slipcovers catalog file of more than 308,000 last-12-month buyers and 2.2 million last-12-month inquirers.

These buyers of ready-made furniture covers are 87 percent female with an age range of 25-54 and average household income of $50,000. The average unit of sale on the file is $150.

Selections include geography, gender, recency and dollar. The file has a base price of $110/M for buyers and $75/M for inquirers.

Rubin Response Snares Publishing Lists

Rubin Response Management Services Inc., Schaumburg, IL, announced its management of two new lists from Ampere Media: Every Stitcher Counts at Postal Address and Every Stitcher Counts at E-Mail Address.

Every Stitcher Counts is a new monthly e-mail newsletter. The 9,200 subscribers on the file are 100 percent Internet-generated and gave postal and e-mail addresses. Telephone numbers also are available. The base price for the postal file is $80/M, and the e-mail file costs $225/M.

Worldata Grabs Financial File

Worldata/WebConnect, Boca Raton, FL, took over management of the Bloomberg Wealth Manager subscriber file of more than 47,700 names Nov. 1. The publication reaches financial planners and investment advisers with average household incomes of $176,361.

The base price is $150/M, and geography is selectable. Worldata recommends these subscribers as prospects for business and consumer offers including sales/motivational tools, financial, investment, subscriptions, computer, travel and high-end consumer merchandise such as electronics.
