Limited Brands, Columbus, OH, said yesterday that net sales totaled $2.21 billion for the second quarter, up 10 percent over the same period last year.
Comparable-store sales rose 9 percent for the quarter, which ended July 31.
Year-to-date sales for the six months ended July 31 reached $4.19 billion, a 9 percent increase over last year's comparable amount. Same-store sales in the period climbed 8 percent.
