Limited Brands Organizes Brands Into Business Groups

Limited Brands Inc., Columbus, OH, announced a company-wide reorganization this week that establishes three separate business groups for its lingerie, apparel and beauty and personal care brands. Each group will be led by a group president.

Heading up lingerie, including Victoria's Secret, will be Leslie H. Wexner, chairman/CEO of Limited Brands, who adds group president to his other responsibilities.

Len Schlesinger, vice chairman and chief operating officer, will oversee beauty and personal care, including Bath & Body Works, in addition to his current role.

Schlesinger and Wexner will share responsibility for Henri Bendel and Victoria's Secret Beauty.

Jay Margolis, formerly president and chief operating officer of Reebok International, joins Limited Brands as group president of apparel, which includes responsibility for Express and The Limited.

Limited Brands also announced that Martyn Redgrave will become executive vice president and chief administrative officer of the company. He is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Margolis, Redgrave, Wexner and Schlesinger will be part of the newly formed Limited Brands Executive Committee, which will oversee management and consider future opportunities. V. Ann Hailey, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Sandy West, executive vice president, human resources, will also serve on this committee.

The company also announced the appointment of Deborah Fine, formerly CEO of Avon Future, as CEO of PINK.
