LifeMinders Inc., Herndon, VA, said it would provide e-mail promotions for Pepcid AC, the heartburn medication marketed by Johnson & Johnson-Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals.
LifeMinders, a Web and wireless direct marketing company, will send personalized e-mails to registered members of the Pepcid AC Web site who have chosen to receive health information in a specific area of interest. The campaign will seek to increase the loyalty of Pepcid AC users as well as to expand the product's customer base.
Johnson & Johnson-Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals uses the LifeMinders Web site to promote its brands to LifeMinders' base of 18 million members.
