LifeMinders, Herndon, VA, will provide infrastructure to deliver targeted messages to customers of wireless messaging firm Metrocall Inc. through e-mail and wireless devices, the companies said yesterday.
Information will be available in 15 different categories, including automotive, entertainment and home.
The deal calls for all 6 million Metrocall subscribers to be able to opt in to LifeMinders’ complementary categories and services.
The companies said they would jointly promote the service through their Web sites and traditional marketing outlets.
